Qaswarah Watch Warranty & Guarantee
Qaswarah Warranty on New Watches
All our new watches come with a 1-year Qaswarah warranty from the date of sale, unless otherwise stated.
Qaswarah warrants all watches to be brand new, genuine and free of defects. Every watch description states the warranty period and whether the warranty is covered by Qaswarah or by the manufacturer. Some watches will come with an international warranty card.
Warranty Coverage
Qaswarah generally offers a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise. The warranty covers:
- Malfunctions due to manufacturing defects
- Malfunctions due to material defects
- Battery replacement
- Water resistance under regular use within the manufacturer’s specifications
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damages such as:
- Scratches or cosmetic damage to the case, bracelet, bezel or clasp
- Damage to crystals or glass
- Damage or wear to leather or fabric straps
- Damage due to excessive wear and tear
- Damage resulting from use under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer’s water resistance limitations
- Damage due to physical and/or accidental abuse, misuse or impact
Warranty Service & Repairs
All warranty repairs must be handled directly through Qaswarah. Any watch opened or repaired by any other source will void all warranties.
Within the warranty period, Qaswarah will cover all parts and labour, or replace the watch at our discretion.
Warranty Returns & Authorization
All warranty returns must have a Return Authorisation Number (RA#). Please call 012 940 1055 prior to returning any watch to obtain an RA#. This number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping box. A watch returned without authorization will be refused.
Shipping & Insurance for Warranty Returns
The customer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs for warranty returns to Qaswarah. Returns must be shipped via a traceable courier (for example, RAM Hand-to-Hand Courier Services). Return shipment must be prepaid and fully insured. Collect (COD) shipping will be refused.
In the case of loss or damage during return shipment, the customer will be liable.

Manufacturer Warranty
In some circumstances, Qaswarah is able to pass along a dealer-stamped manufacturer warranty card, in which case the watch will be covered by the manufacturer’s stated warranty.
When the manufacturer’s warranty is included with the watch, warranty service will be handled directly between the consumer and the manufacturer. In such cases, the watch will include the manufacturer’s original endorsed warranty card.
The Qaswarah warranty will not be in effect if the watch supplied to you comes with the original manufacturer warranty.
The Qaswarah Guarantee for New/Unworn Watches
Qaswarah guarantees all new/unworn watches sold through our website to be 100% genuine and in brand new/unworn condition. The watches will be delivered in the original box and will include all papers, excluding the warranty card/book.
In some cases, we are able to include the manufacturer’s warranty card/book; in those circumstances we will clearly display “ALL PAPERS INCLUDED” on the product description.
Every watch manufacturer engraves or stamps an individual and unique serial number on each of their watches for identification purposes. Qaswarah guarantees that each watch it sells will bear the original manufacturer’s serial number, intact and unaltered.
Supply & Authorised Dealer Status
Qaswarah is not an authorised dealer of any brand of watch we sell. We source our watches from authorised dealers, distributors and other reliable sources. We do not source watches from unreliable or questionable suppliers.
Watch manufacturers prefer their products to be sold to the end user via their designated authorised dealers at full, or close to full, suggested retail prices. We have arrangements with direct authorised dealers and distributors both in South Africa and internationally, from whom we commit to buying large quantities of goods throughout the year. Based upon the quantities we buy, our suppliers sell us the watches at a small margin above their cost.
Important Notice Regarding Manufacturer Warranties
Because we are not authorised dealers, the manufacturers will not honour their warranty on a watch bought through Qaswarah. In place of the manufacturer’s warranty, Qaswarah offers its own warranty that mirrors the manufacturer’s warranty terms as closely as possible.
Service Process During the Warranty Period
In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your watch during the Qaswarah warranty period, the watch will need to be sent back to us for service.
Upon inspection, if we determine that the service required is a relatively simple fix (such as regulation, battery change or similar minor correction), we will have the watch serviced by one of our trusted independent watchmakers.
We have contracted highly qualified independent watchmakers who are capable of correcting these relatively simple issues. In many instances, our watchmakers are authorised repair centres for various high-end watch manufacturers, and handling minor or simple corrections is well within their expertise.
